Calcup Hill 4WD Ascent

Описание к видео Calcup Hill 4WD Ascent

WA4WD is a dedicated to exploring the outback of Western Australia. The team travels to remote areas for off the grid bush camping. The Aussie Bush Cook prepares all our meals in the bush. The WA4WD team believes we should do no damage to the bush, ourselves or our vehicles (they are needed to get us home).
The WA4WD team have been camping in the outback for more than 50 years, but we continue to learn from each trip. The team must make repairs without assistance if necessary. Water conservation is very important when away from civilisation.
The team looks for abandonned towns, lost cemeteries and forgotten railway lines. The focus is generally from the Pilbara south.
If anyone can see another camper, then we are too close.
Two members trained with the Australian Army many decades ago and use those bush skills to find tracks and navigate through the outback.

You can also vbisit our webpage www.wa4wd.net.au Driving up Calcup Hill in the D'Entrecasteaux National Park. This drive is not overly difficult in the right gear and with the right tyre pressures. The locals recommend 10psi, and I reckon they are spot on. I can usually do it in one go. It is so sad to see numbskulls who think lowering their pressures to 28psi will work. And it really upsets the locals as well as mucks the track right up. You don't need to be doing roster tails, once your wheels are spinning, all you are doing is digging a hole.
