Watch the effects of Cedroz™ post-planting bionematicide on nematodes (Meloidogyne spp.) in this controlled in vitro test comparing three treatment concentrations over a 120-hour time frame.

Experiment details:
Second-stage juvenile (J2) nematodes were exposed to Cedroz for 24 hours and then transferred to distilled water and observed for 34, 48, 72 and 120 hours to determine whether they would recover. This experiment was done to verify the lethal effect of the product (as opposed to apparent mortality). The test demonstrates that Cedroz is indeed a nematicide (lethal) and not a nematostatic (halts growth) product.

Root-knot nematodes have been a problem for growers for a long time. These tiny roundworms attack and penetrate roots of plants, preventing water and nutrients from reaching leaves and fruit.

With Cedroz, a nature-identical, post-planting bionematicide, growers can reduce root-knot nematodes to keep them from attacking crop roots so that crops can flourish.
