Philadelphia Flyers Free Agency: Matvei Michkov Officially Inks Entry Level Contract

NHL Free Agency is officially upon us. The Flyers were a bit more active then expected on Day 1. The team managed to re-sign veteran defenseman Erik Johnson and Garnet Hathaway. Two good locker room guys who can help the young stars take the next step in their development. Also the icing on the cake, Matvei Michkov has officially signed his Entry Level Contract with the Flyers. When he's going to report is still up in the air and will be determined by how soon he can get his work visa. Are there any remaining Free Agents you want the Flyers to sign? The NHL Entry Draft came and went last weekend. A lot of teams left fans confused by some of the shocking picks that were made. The Flyers were no different taking Center Jett Luchanko with the 13th overall pick after trading back with the Minnesota Wild.
