The Church of the Nazarene underscores the importance of education, and, in particular, the importance of tertiary education. The church’s global dedication and commitment to tertiary education is evident in its educational mission statement. To realize this commitment, the church supports a combined network of fifty-two undergraduate and graduate level seminaries, colleges and universities, located in 35 countries and on six continents globally. These institutions enjoy an enrollment of more than 51,555 students in their campuses (IBOE, 2016). Southern Africa Nazarene University is blessed to be a part of this dynamic network. The University is determined to play a pivotal role in modeling and shaping men and women of high moral character and integrity through a balanced combination of faith, teaching and learning within a holiness context.
