This system, installed by White Horse Contractors, involves injecting 20 million polypropylene fibers into the soil. These fibers interlock with the grass roots, creating a more stable and durable playing surface. Tottenham Hotspur also utilizes a separate synthetic turf surface underneath for events like NFL games.

The Eden Project's Core building, an education center, features a copper roof sourced from a mine with high environmental and social standards, specifically the Kennecott Utah Copper Company's Bingham Canyon mine. The biomes, the large greenhouse structures, utilize transparent ETFE (ethylene tetrafluoroethylene) panels. The entrance building linking the biomes has a grass roof, requiring a specific drainage system.
