In a back and forth war between orcs and trolls neither side had been able to gain any significant advantage. However, the trolls committed too heavily to a brutal assault aimed at destroying the orc's border fortress. Both heroes died in the battle but in the end the fortress remained standing and far too many trolls had died, leaving them vulnerable. While the trolls tried to recover the orcs assured their victory by summoning a titan to the field, and the weakened trolls were swept aside by the orcish army lead by their flesh colossus.
