How To Make Air Dry Clay - Silky-Smooth DIY Recipe

Описание к видео How To Make Air Dry Clay - Silky-Smooth DIY Recipe

How to make air dry clay - ever since I came out with this recipe for "silky-smooth" air dry clay, it's become one of the most popular art recipes on my website. This is not a recipe for kids (it's not edible). Artists use this material to create beautiful, strong, long-lasting sculptures.

If you've used the silky-smooth air dry clay yourself, you may have some ideas for using it that I haven't thought of yet, so please put them in the comment section below. I also want to thank Eileen, Rex and Pia for contributing their ideas for this new video.

I know I'll get a couple of questions, so I'll answer them here:

Is this recipe waterproof? No.

Do you have to use the drywall joint compound? Yes. If you don't want to use it, you'll need to find another recipe. The joint compound combined with the PVA glue is the real magic behind this recipe and the paper mache clay recipe. It makes the mixture dry very hard and strong.
