Skoda T21, experimental medium tank tested in romania between late 1939 - 1940, Romania ordered some 216 to 287 tanks in 1939 - 1940 but Germany refused to deliver tanks to Romania because romania had not yet joined the Axis. In 1941 Romania tried to buy license to manufacture the tank in romania but lacked the industrial resources to produce medium tanks and the project as eventvvvvvvually canceled. Project should have continued in 1942 - 1943 , when romania did eventually began making armored vehicles the Maresal tank destroyer.
CKD-V8H experimental medium tank tested in romania between late 1939 - 1940, rejected by romania in favor of the Skoda T21. Germans considered it equal to the Panzer III.
