My daughter Waliya and I watch the ongoing thriller series Case No. 9 together. We enjoy it while having dinner together, along with her friends too. Here, you go with me to see paintings at Gallery 6, Islamabad. Then attending a few of SDPI conference events, currently going on at Allama Iqbal Open University.
Life moves at its usual amazing pace. Frankly, I love it, and hope you love it too. Allama Iqbal also does not believe in mundane routines. To find a different day, learning more new things is my philosophy of life. With me you find a life in a late sixties which is exciting and fun, together with family and friends.
The art work shared in Gallery 6, is part of the Biennial Arjumand Faisal award event, recently held in Alhamra Lahore. Paintings shown here are the participants and winners work. Very mature. The winners receive cash awards. Only those artists up till the age of 40 years are allowed to participate.
I know, most of you are young and in your twenties and thirties. You can look forward to such a life in your later years. In fact, Inshallah, you will have even more constructive work getting done when you are in your late sixties and seventies.
Here I am, as a cancer survivor, showing you how life can be after you are over with this illness. Yes, there are some side effects of chemotherapy, but this kind of life, makes you think less about these.
Keeping your mind active and busy doing activities which are energizing, productive and useful for those around you, matters a lot.
Together, we are giving food to underprivileged people daily. That means a lot.
