Additionally, the market's volatility index, India VIX, stood at 13.46, indicating a 4.44% decrease. The broader market indices also mirrored this sentiment, with the Nifty Smallcap 100 closing at 18900, representing a 0.19% gain. Similarly, the Nifty Midcap 100 concluded the session at 58935, recording a 0.28% loss.
