In this guided exercise, Dr. Kate Truitt invites to learn how to use the creating possibilities protocol as a powerful self care exercise to will guide our brain to link into the resilient neural networks. She begins by inviting us to find a comfortable seating position, noticing the weight of our body and position of our feet on the ground. We can also engage in self havening or rest our hands on our heart.

To move into relationship with our body, Dr. Kate asks us to perform a slow body scan from the top of our head to the tip of our toes. Is there any tension or discomfort? Do any require extra attention or love? If so, greet them with a smile.

Once our scan is complete, we turn our attention to what feeling state we would like to feel more of in this moment. It can be anything from calm to energetic. Once we have decided our required state, we can begin our inquiry. What if I was calm? Does this state have a color or scent in our mind? Can we recall a time in the past where we felt this experience? Dr. Kate encourages us to delve into the possibilities of this feeling state.
