Richmond, VA — Roll & Toast Records proudly announces the first-ever official release of Doom Void, a collection of lost recordings from Richmond, Virginia's most enigmatic fictional heavy rock outfit. These thirteen tracks, recorded between 1974 and 1979, capture a band that was simultaneously ahead of their time and deeply rooted in the primordial ooze of American doom metal.

Born in the shadow of Richmond's decaying industrial district, Doom Void emerged from the same fertile underground that would later spawn GWAR and Municipal Waste. But while their contemporaries looked to the future, Doom Void channeled something darker and more immediate—the paranoid reality of Cold War America filtered through Marshall stacks and fuzz pedals.

The self-titled collection showcases the band's evolution across five years of basement recordings and makeshift studio sessions. From the crushing nihilism of "Terminal Velocity" to the sardonic social commentary of "Suburban Nightmare," Doom Void painted their world in shades of radiation green and factory smoke gray. Tracks like "Children of The Atom" and "Radioactive Rain" reveal Martin's obsession with nuclear anxiety, while "Assembly Line Angel" and "Synthetic Paradise" critique the dehumanizing march of technology with a prescience that feels eerily contemporary.
