After the success of the "Nashville Nocturne" at the Nashville International Chopin Piano Competition, the author was asked to write several more pieces of this type. The cycle consists of five pieces, including the "Nashville Nocturne". The pieces are in the following order:
1. Reminiscences
2. Nashville Nocturne
3. The Ninth Wave
4. Callanish
5. Venus Grotto

The pieces are performed by the First Prize winner of the Nashville International Chopin Piano Competition in the 16-22 age category Elisey Mysin.
