Capitol launched this double album compilation late 1977. Conceived this album as a 'gift for Granny' , it was shunned by many Beatles fans as it offered them nothing new at the time. In this video we find out how it has stood the test of time by looking at the track listing, packaging and sound quality. We also look at some interesting collectible items related to this forgotten compilation.
p.s. for anyone not familiar with the phrase, 'Swinging for the bleacher seats', it's a baseball idiom meaning "to put forward one's maximum amount of effort or energy into something".
