Although it is not required to disassemble the pack for cleaning, you want to breakdown the pack to perform a deep cleaning of any specific components.

CLEANING SUGGESTIONS — Start with a rinse. Follow that up with a cold soak. The colder, the better. You can add any mild or scent-free detergent during the soak and hand-wash any deeply soiled areas with a soft rag. Repeat the rinse and soak cycle as needed. Perform a final rinse, then finish by letting everything dry in open air.
