Dear Christians, One & All, Rejoice! (Martin Luther Hymn)

In Colossians 3:16, the Apostle Paul instructs us to, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”

The Church should make it a point to sing songs worth singing—heavy on the Psalms, as well as the great hymns, especially those that have stood the test of centuries. We want to sing songs that have carried our spiritual forefathers through both trial and abounding.

To that end, enjoy this original setting of Martin Luther's hymn, "Dear Christians, One & All, Rejoice!" The lyrics are a translation of his work, with additional original lyrics, and the tune and recording are original—written, performed, and recorded by Pastor Brian Sauvé in Ogden, Utah.
