Despite your wishes, the quest you've embarked upon has taken you to the Barithel forest. The forest is massive, and not long after entering you are lost among its beautiful glades and groves. Finally, you find a small stream, and follow it carefully. After much travel along the winding stream, you discover the small Elven sanctuary of Leramere. You immediately enter the building that appears to be some sort of common hall, to get some good food and rest. Inside, a warm fire lights the beautifully constructed building, which is filled with Elves drinking, eating, and conversing. Elven bards stand at one corner of the hall, playing on harps, whistles, drums, and violins. This is exactly the kind of reprieve you'd hoped for.
