A preliminary meeting of US and British staffs in Malta prior to the Yalta Conference during World War II. Officers and enlisted men work in a US joint communication center. Men work on papers and typewriters. Stenographic Secretary, US Joint Chief of Staff, Secretariat, Navy and Army personnel transcribe and type notes of the conference. Colonel C. R. Peck and Lieutenant Colonel W.W. Chapman, Jr. in the office of Secretariat. Location: Malta. Date: January 30, 1945.
