Here was the only truck I managed to find on my NorCal trip this summer. Since we only stayed the weekend, and left on Monday, it was hard for me to find any WM or C&S in Ukiah.

As some of you may know I saw this truck AS I was driving up on Friday through Santa Rosa. Although North Bay Corp is famous for their Heil Durapack 7000s, they still have 2 or 3 Rapid Rails left, and this Volvo WXLL is one of them! Still outfitted with old rims, the former Redwood Empire Disposal signboard, and a grille in terrible condition (lol), this truck made for a great video, although I did have to run quite a lot to catch up with him because the houses were quite far spread.

The driver, however, was probably the nicest I have ever run into during my career of filming. He was friendly right off the bat - waved at me in my first shot, and even waited to let me run up ahead of him to get my next shot. Although we talked a bit, I didn't get his name :(.

I hope you guys still look past the fact that this truck didn't revved as many would have liked it too, but rather realize that the Volvo WXLL chassis is slowly fading out around the country, being replaced by Autocar, etc.
