Should you buy or lease a 2024 Tesla Model 3 Long-Range (LR)

In my personal opinion, I think it makes more financial sense to lease a 2024 Tesla Model 3 Long-Range (LR).

The primary reason is because if you lease the 2024 Tesla Model 3 Long-Range (LR) you can get the $7500 EV tax credit. And you can get this tax credit regardless of your income.

However, if you buy or finance the 2024 Tesla Model 3 Long-Range (LR) you will not get the $7500 EV tax credit because this car does not qualify for it.

The interesting thing is that you can actually get a 2024 Tesla Model 3 Performance for less money than a 2024 Tesla Model 3 Long-Range (LR) if you were to buy or finance the car.

On top of this, the 2024 Tesla Model 3 Long-Range (LR) is actually a great lease deal in terms of value as well. You’ll see why when I run my 1.25% rule of leasing on this car.
