As a super storm heads towards Toronto, no one is quite ready for the impact. Clare’s both excited and nervous to escape to New York for her Columbia U interview. She’ll be in the same city as Eli, but swears that nothing will get in the way of her interview. But something does. Because of the storm, hotels are booked up and Clare needs a place to stay; oh crap! She knows only one person in New York City with whom she can spend the night. Back in Toronto, Zig gets asked to the dance by both Maya and Zoë and accepts both offers. When it rains, it pours! When the storm confines this awkward triangle to the Matlin house before the dance, Zig suggests a drink to get everyone more friendly. Miles opts for a hangout at the Hollingsworth mansion during the storm with Tristan, Winston and Frankie. When talk of Mr. Yates (Tristan’s short-lived teacher crush) being a “creepo” starts, Tristan gets defensive and stomps out into the storm. Can Miles talk some sense into him? At Degrassi, all of the students who made it to the dance are accounted for, except for one. Where’s Becky? A worried Drew takes off into the storm to find her.
