Ooty, officially known as Udhagamandalam, is located in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
It is a popular hill station located in the Nilgiri Hills and is called the "Queen of Hill Stations".
With a cool and soothing climate almost all year round, Ooty welcomes tourists from far and wide.

The resort is named as Hotel Mayura Sudarshan, Ooty.
Since the location is situated in an isolated place, you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner right in their dining hall.
Walking up and going down are quite thrilling.
There is a big parking space within the premises.
There are different sort of accommodations available here. It is situated in a peaceful location.
What is special about this place is that there are gardens which make more scenic. Morning is beautiful here. You can spend some quality time in the early morning before you proceed towards some tourist places.
In the evening you can spend some time here with indoor activities.
Ooty, is situated in the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve.
Coffee and Tea are primarily grown in the region besides potatoes, beet roots, carrots, spices and fruits.
Picturesque Niligiri Hills have several delights for visitors like deep valleys, cascading waterfalls, winding streams and lush green forests.
Niligiri Hills are a trekker's paradise with variety of exotic vegetations.
Many of the forested areas and water bodies are exclusive to most visitors.
The economy is based on tourism and agriculture, along with the manufacturing of medicines.
The town is connected by the Nilgiri ghat roads and Nilgiri Mountain Railway.
During my stay here, I had been to some popular destinations, like Paikara Lake, Paikara Falls, Pine Forest, Doddapeda the highest peak in entire Nilgiri range, Botanical garden, shooting point, and of course the Toy train from Ooty to Mettupalayam, a life time experience you can get if you sit at the window side facing west.
