If you stay for the whole video, there is a fun story to this doll acquisition. You all know how much I love when my dolls have a back story of how they came to be a part of my collection. I am glad I got antsy for that reason added to her alone. A name now? Hmmmmmmm.
It will be very interesting to see how this doll will be swapped to other heads or if Mattel will be pleasing us with different skin tones to get more variety in the future. I would LOVE to see her and future versions of her used for “me dolls” for us bigger girls, including myself. Oh my, the choices would be endless and throw us all in a loop if we get many skin complexions! As for me, I will be keeping her head, body and pink hair "as is" for recognition preference.
These jointed (and not) dolls do show all! Especially while I show and compare this Mattel doll to others including the original light blue top M2M size, a Black Label: The Barbie Look, Dazzling Date who is more articulated like the earlier 100 poses Fashionistas and the original more stiff limbed curvy Fashionista 27, Sweetheart Stripe with blue hair. These extra model beauties are part of my #wendysdollworld which is playdolls and are not dressed in their original outfits. Stella, my blue beauty also has a new haircut!
Dear doll family, I hope you enjoy this review!!! I put on make up for it and everything!!! I was so excited LOL LOL LOL Other dolls I have waited months to open, not this one! Can’t wait to hear what you think about her? Also, if YOU ARE INTERESTED IN GETTING HER when she is released in America? Which doll heads to you think match her skin tone for a rebody? (Or as they say in the community, a body donor?) Within the video I also mention that I am shutting down my PO Box at the end of this month, January 2018. No more snail mailing address for SBF. With recent life events and really too much shopping and receiving, it is time for me to use my gaining energy, hunker down and get to these delayed projects without distraction! Also mentioned is cutting my monthly doll budget down too. I very much want to finish the Ever After High doll rooms so bad!!!You have no idea the internal struggle I have when I do not complete things. Hooray for my health getting back to normal and stabilized too.
