i've been in an editing rut and wanted to do something different, so here we are! i recently watched the film I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House (2016) for the first time, and while I didn't really like it (too slow for my taste), the monologues really reminded me of Mary. see my post on tumblr (linked below as always) for videos and fics that are similar to this concept and kind of inspired me or motivated me to make this!
