The Tale of Twin Cities I Rapid Urban Sprawl & Livability in Islamabad & Rawalpindi

The Tale of #TwinCities is an open mic session where questions regarding livability in the cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi are put forward to the audience. Islamabad is a planned city where Highrise buildings are limited to specific zones. The horizontal expansion of both Islamabad and Rawalpindi have created a mess. Outskirts of both the cities are managed poorly. Urban sprawl is now one of the biggest challenge faced by the twin cities. People have to commute for hours daily as offices are located far from the residential areas. Public transport has recently improved but still is incapable of catering the needs of the masses.
