Camera Settings for Walkabout Bird Photography & Custom Shooting Modes (Canon 1DX): What's the best way to set your camera up for opportunistic bird photography? Whilst walking around it's good to have some settings ready in case you get opportunities. In this video I discuss my preferred settings for walk-about bird photography; I also show how to save specific settings in the camera using the Custom Shooting Mode (C1-C3). This video will be particularly helpful to anyone with a Canon 1DX, 5D or 7D.
