Total restoration of a heavily rusted 1890s antique iron scissors. Bringing a seized pair of tailoring shears back to cutting condition.

I unearthed these massive iron scissors at an old farmhouse. Dating back to the late 1890s, they were completely fused together by rust, and the blades were dull and pitted. Tools from this era were hand-forged and built to last forever. In this video, I carefully separate the seized blades, remove the deep corrosion, and sharpen the cutting edges to slice through fabric like a razor.
