The Tacoma Police Department said Thursday that is searching for two teen fugitives who cut off their electronic monitoring devices from a previous armed robbery and are now suspects in the murder of a pot shop employee last weekend.

A woman who was attacked at random and brutally beaten in a Seattle light rail station during an incident that was captured on surveillance video asked a King County judge to keep the suspect in jail and not allow him back on the streets.

A throng of well wishers are expected Friday to pay their final respects to fallen Pierce County Sheriff's Deputy Dominique "Dom" Calata, who was shot and killed last week during a SWAT operation in which fellow law enforcement officer, Sgt. Rich Scaniffe, was shot and wounded.
