The mission of Hugs Cafe Inc

The mission of Hugs Café Inc. is to enhance the lives of adults with special needs through training and employment. It is our passion to offer a place of hope, understanding, grace, and success (HUGS) to each individual so they may be recognized for their abilities and talents in the community. Our mission offers a direct solution for adults with special needs that want to work, but remain unemployed due to lack of opportunity. We have created two social enterprises and one training program that provide education and on-the-job training in both culinary arts and horticulture. Through our three initiatives, Hugs Cafe, Hugs Prep, and Hugs Greenhouse we provide job training, personal development, and competitively-paid employment for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in North Texas.
