Today You'll LEARN how to PERFORM & PREVENT the PUPPET LOCK! - BRANDED BYSTIAL | YuGiOh! Master Duel

Описание к видео Today You'll LEARN how to PERFORM & PREVENT the PUPPET LOCK! - BRANDED BYSTIAL | YuGiOh! Master Duel

We'll go over Branded Bystial's new cards and how they influence the meta, with most specifically Sanctifire Dragon, Quem and Gimmick Puppet Nightmare. But also how to prevent the lock to begin with. So join us!

But first, to never be harmed by the Puppet yourself - Click here:    / @cognitivegrub0

The Gimmick Puppet lock was already quite the contender for being the most successful but most toxic variant of Branded Bystial Despia during the Expulsion days. But instead of banning the Puppet, Konami decided to ban Expulsion. Fast forward a couple months and here we are. So here we'll show how to perform the combo with the new Guiding Quem, the Virtuous, Albion the Sanctifire Dragon and the now new Nadir Servant Puppet lock combo.

I am not making this video to promote the Puppet lock per se. I do want to see it banned, but I also want you to have success on the ladder by a) being able to perform the lock yourself, and b) to know how to avoid it from happening. That can only happen if you understand the mechanics at play in this combo.

Anyway, I understand that people dislike this video because it showcases the lock, but I'd rather inform you guys.

Disclaimer for these Basics guides:
1) We pretend that only have the cards in the starters or searchers header in our hand and no other cards.
2) We will ignore the opponents' hand, unless we need them to do something to show parts of our combo.
3) The searchers specified will be able to kick-start the combo by fetching starters. It is possible we use search cards later in the combo that aren't specified in the searchers at the start.
4) The presented decklist may vary from the used list in the combo tutorial, as for the tutorial we want to increase the odds of pulling the combo off.
5) The presented decklists are taking the meta into account but are often different in hindsight. Also, certain cards (especially hand traps) can be easily switched out based on preference or meta relevancy.

The YuGiOh! Basics Series is a series of videos where we elaborately walk through different combo lines and combo strategies for different decks so you can learn how to win. Aiming to inform beginners of the deck, or just beginners to YuGiOh! in general and we perform these combos in Konami's YuGiOh! Master Duel, even though most combos work fine in the OCG/TCG too. We're hoping that these guides will give you the confidence of playing with a tier 0 deck, even though it is ranked slightly (or vastly) below that and not, as Seto Kaiba had put it, be a third rate duelist with a forth rate deck. Be as Yugi Moto, play, learn and believe in the heart of the cards!
