For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner painted it its original color of Rally Green and accented with black hood stripes and a black vinyl interior. Powering this Road Runner is a 383 cubic inch big block with a 727 Torque Flite automatic transmission. Putting the power to the ground is a 8 3/4 rear end with 3.23 sure grip gears. Keeping the operating temperatures down on this big block is an aluminum radiator. Other notable features in the engine bay consist of Mopar performance valve covers, Edelbrock Performer intake manifold and carburetor and the original fender tag. The engine has less than 1,000 miles since it was rebuilt. During the rebuild, the engine received a Mopar performance camshaft, Mopar chrome rocker shafts, Mopar rocker arms and springs, Speed Pro 9.1:1 pistons and bored .030. Options for this sweet little Road Runner include power steering, factory dash tachometer, bench seat, remote driver's side mirror, aftermarket Pioneer C/D player, Magnum wheels, Air Grabber hood with vents, three speed wipers, Stewart Warner auxiliary gauges to keep an eye on the water temperature and oil pressure.
