About grade 11 Maths:
Grade 11 Maths is an extension of what was taught in grade 10. It builds on the advanced problem-solving techniques studied in grade 10. In addition to topics introduced in the lower grades, students are now introduced to the power of formula derivation and critical thinking. Students will now broaden what they have learned and bring it closer to a complete package. At this stage, students can derive a majority of the formulas given in their formula sheets.
At the end of the grade, students should be competent in the following topics: algebraic expressions, equations and inequalities, exponents and surds, number patterns, functions, financial maths, probability, linear programming, data handling(statistics), analytical geometry, trigonometry, measurement and euclidean geometry.
