Teaching Young Kids How to Snowboard - Safety Tips

Welcome to Step 4, the final video in the set of tutorials Teaching Young Kids How to Snowboard. Finally, you can start exploring the mountain with your child. This video gives you some safety tips and things to remember, so everyone can have a great time!
Please start slow and keep your eyes on the little shredder.

Before you head to the main trails, make sure your child feels comfortable on the snowboard, turning from side to side, and knows all the ground rules that you set together. It's always a good idea to go back and do a little warm up with step 2 , Practicing Heel and Toe Sides, and Step 3, remind them to keep the leader of the snowboard in front when initiating their turns. Remember - every kid is different, so check out all the tips and tricks, be patient, and have fun!
