The best way to cycle from Westminster to Canary Wharf

You can cycle from Westminster in central London to Canary Wharf in the east of the city in about 30 minutes.

The route is almost entirely on protected cycle lanes, with a short stretch on quiet streets. The way I go uses a lot of TfL route Cycleway 3, with a bit of my own innovation as well.
