Developed by Hudson Soft, this title turned out to be one of my favorite experiences on the console, offering a level of polish and joy that rivals the best 16-bit classics. I discuss why this game is a true hidden gem and how playing it on original hardware with a cartridge and CRT monitor enhanced the authentic experience.

I dive deep into the brilliant visuals, the unique color-based health system, and the satisfying gameplay mechanics that combine platforming with shooting elements similar to Bubble Bobble.
