A Learjet 55, Piper M600, and Mooney M20M in the Aircraft Salvage Hangar This Week

This week, the BAS hangar is slam-packed with HOT airplanes. We have two big, high-tech aircraft - a Piper M600 and a Learjet 55 - plus a Mooney M20M TLS in the shop going through the disassembly process. The M600 Is Something We've Done Before, but it is still a beast of an airplane and takes significant time to disassemble properly. The Learjet 55 is the next step in our goal of acquiring more turbine-powered aircraft. The phone is already ringing for parts & components for both the Lear and the M600, so if you have a need, we suggest getting in touch sooner rather than later.

The Mooney M20M and Piper M600 were totaled in a tornado in Omaha. The Lear overshot the runway and crashed in a ravine (no one was hurt). All three airplanes come with some outstanding avionics. And, even though there is external damage, all three planes will yield a long, long, long list of high-demand and highly usable airplane parts that will live on.
