I was so proud to be featured in local filmmaker Peter Flynn's documentary FILM IS DEAD LONG LIVE FILM, that is now making the rounds all around the USA. Imagine my surprise when it made our local movie theater THE AMBLER! Before the show, we walk around the Theater Museum too!
My family and friends join me at one of the 4 screenings and there was a Q&A session after the feature film with me and Jesse Crooks (projectionist at the Ambler). (I show only a few parts of the film, but the Q&A is complete and unedited.)
This was filmed by my daughter, and Chuck, on my phone but I decided to upload it for all to see! The film footage of me was done some 4 years ago at TNT Amusements, and other parts were filmed at the Cinesea Film Show that Tammy and I attend twice a year in Wildwood, New Jersey.
Chuck and I walk around the museu before the show to see many of the projectors donated by the film historian who was a supporter of the ambler theater, Louis DiCrescenzo who passed away before the film was released. Brother Rob and his wife, along with my daughter Terry and wife Pam, also were here too! Greg and Linda, who also work at TNT and Bob and Garth, who I eat breakfast with at Daddypops came out to support me also. I thank Terry for filming the 45 minute Q&A, holding the phone nice and steady!
Now, you will know that I was once a "Pirate" in film collecting! At the end credits, I have video links to two Cinesea events and also a film show I did in Syracuse New York.
