1965 Plymouth Sport Fury Restomod | The Sound and the Fury | Big Block Mopar

On this episode of the Average Joe Hot Rod Show we look at Steve Quick’s 1965 Plymouth Sport Fury that he restomodded with his son Trent. And I know what you are thinking...is that really his name? Yep, call it kismet that a guy with the last name Quick is into old cars with big V8’s.

This episode was a labor of love because it was sold in my town at a dealership within walking distance of my current home. . I was able to to actually go stand where that Plymouth was first sold in 1965 and for someone trained in historical research, that made it a little bit more fun for me.

So follow along as we walk in this Mopar’s footsteps from it was new off the lot, to where it was abandoned in a field to rot, to where it was lovingly and painstakingly brought back to life by a father and son team.

If you like big old American Iron with rootin’ tootin’ big blocks and manual transmissions...this may be an episode for you.
