In this video you'll learn how to electronically submit documents for your homestead credit claim.
The easiest way to submit your documents is to attach them to the homestead form when you file. If you've already filed and now need to add documents, you may submit them electronically. Here's how�
First you need to convert your documents from paper to electronic. You can either:

Scan your documents to your computer, saving them as a bmp, jpeg, pdf, png or tif file type.

Or take a picture - most cell phones save jpeg files so you can take a pictures of your documents and email them to
your computer. Be sure to save them where you can find them again, like the "my pictures" folder or the desktop.
Now you're ready to submit your documents using the W-RA application on our website

Go to revenue.wi.gov and click the individuals tab

Choose "file transfer (form WRA)" then click the W-RA submission button

Now select your ID Type from the drop down menu and enter the appropriate ID, which could be your social security number, individual taxpayer Identification number, federal employer identification number or Wisconsin tax number. The information you provide must match the previous tax records we have in our system.
Now click Add next to "attachments."

The "Type" (W-RA Submissions) is already selected for you from the drop down menu.
After adding a document description, click the browse button to locate the file on your computer. You can attach more than one file; however, your total attachment size must be 30mb or less.

After attaching all your documents, select "Submit" on the left side of the screen.
