Tarang Tripathi takes the audience through his journey of public speaking. From forming Aawaaz, his student-led debate organisation to talking about the power of connections, he says, "Everyone takes networks for granted". Through Aawaaz, he has created a space for skill development and with the aim of reimagining learning, Tarang brings the theme of ‘Unbound’ to life. He emphasizes the importance of forging connections and building networks- The time to build community is now. Connections begin in the classroom. Tarang is a PhD candidate in the Department of Education at the University of California, San Diego, and Co-Founder of Aawaaz Education Services. His research focuses on the significance of networks in influencing behaviors, particularly how they impact students' and teachers' behaviors and agency in diverse classrooms. At Aawaaz, he leads an organization dedicated to providing quality holistic education to all students, aiming to bridge educational gaps and promote equitable learning opportunities. Over the past decade, through Aawaaz, he has worked with more than 10,000 students and teachers across government and private schools in India. Additionally, he is an Associate at the Synthesis Department at UCSD, where he teaches a course on climate justice and social impact.
