As the world grapples with climate change, and inequality threatens equitable and fair communities, Chris Muller believes it is time to make way for the clear-eyed idealism of young people and let students lead the way forward. After all, he says, “adults don’t always know best.” How can we help the next generations lead with empathy, gratitude and intelligence? In this Talk, Chris argues that the key lies in understanding and acknowledging our own privileges, and he offers some examples of how we can integrate that process into the classroom.
