Check out our tips for creating the most welcoming and cosy guest bedroom, the XS Way!

1. Clean linen and extra blankets are a must. Some people are always cold and others are always warm, so make sure everyone is comfortable.

2. Include travel sized toiletries in your welcome basket, and make sure you wash any new towels to soften them up.

3. Snacks and water are essential guest room items, but they're often forgotten about! If your guests have had a long journey the last thing they want is to fetch their own water. Keep them happy and hydrated!

4. Some light reading material is a nice touch - include a range of magazines or city guides in your welcome basket, or have a small bookshelf with your favourite holiday reads.

5. Don't forget to leave a note of the Wifi password. It's the first thing everyone looks for and a room must haves!

6. Add a touch of luxury with a bath robe and a comfortable pair of slippers.
