Miata Timing Belt Job + Short Nose Crank Wobble Repair With Loctite 660! Jimmy Has No Garage Ep.14

EDIT(9/29/2020): After the fix, I drew a straight line on both the crankbolt and the pully so that I can visually check if the crank gear moves. But as of today, (about 1000 miles later) the car felt slow again and I checked the crank, I noticed the lines don't align anymore :X (So now I start to think that my method didn't work, I suspect that the loctite didn't cure completely even after 48 hours, or the front seal kept leaking, oil got into the loctite and dissolved it... I did the repair again, but this time I trimmed two pieces of paper clips and stuck them into the worn gap before I apply loctite hoping that it will hold better. This way I think you will use less loctite 660 and it will dry faster.
A week later I went to a track day and drove the car hard for one whole day. The crank held up and car felt great. :)

I've been driving my girlfriend's Civic (it's actually mine lol) for a whole week... Time to put the Miata back on the road! There aren't many videos about fixing the keyway on the early Miatas with loctite 660 on the internet. I hope this video will help someone with their short nose crank (SNC) Miatas in the future:)
