🌅💅 Three Techniques to do the Vertical Ombre French Trend 💅🌇

Ey up Duck!

You won’t believe what we are gonna be doing in today's video! I bet you are all sick of seeing it but people are asking for it so here it is… the Vertical Ombre! And I’m going to be showing you not one! Not two! But three different ways you can do it! Let’s get cracking.

I’ll be working on tips today so I’m going to start out by scoring the tip so our medium has something to grab on to then ill give that a clean-over with some clean-up solution.

Now I can give that a coat of base and cure that.

For my first nail I'll be using Gel and today I’m using Silly Billy and Sandra so I’ll paint my Silly Billy down one side of the nail and then I’ll paint Sandra on the other side then I can take my Fay’d Brush and I’ll work my way through that intersection to create a nice Fay’d haha get it? And I’m going to do that process twice curing in-between each to make a nice strong Ombre.

Now I’m going to create the French so we are swapping our colors around here I’m using the brush from the bottle but you can use a liner if you feel more comfortable so Sandra over the Silly Billy then Silly Billy over the Sandra and meet in the middle and the same again we will take the Fay’d Brush and blend them together and ill do two coats of those as well but we have to carve out our smile line on this set swell so to do that I’m going to take my 3D Adam brush and ill damp that in a bit of clean up solution and then I can cut into that smile line and make it neat again and then that can go in the lamp.

Now I’ll finish this one off with the matte top coat and cure that.

Ok nail two same again, buff over the tip, clean over, give it a base, but this time! We are going to give the nail a full cover of white out one coat will be enough and then we can take some pigment powders and ill be using the BrenDek Brush and ill fluff that out, ya see a fluffed-out BrenDek brush is perfect for pigment, so ill get some pigment on my brush and the smush it into the kitchen towel to saturate the brush and then we can burnish in our Ombre and that will stick to the tacky layer of the gel, so when you are happy with your blend you can top-coat that and give it a cure.

Ill Buff over my top coat to make it porous so we can use the white-out again and with that, we will paint in our smile line, and then we can cure that, and now we will apply the pigment in reverse to create this effect then clean up the smile line with the 3D Adam, dust off any excess and give that a top-coat of your choosing ill give this one a matte so we can compare with the gel nail.

Number three! Now this one is a bit of a cheeky experiment bonus so let’s see how we get on.

Same prep as before buff, clean, base, and then we will give this a coat of the Void Gel Polish and cure that, then we will give it a coat of Silver Fox (we come to learn it works better if you apply the silver fox to one side and then uses the Fay’d brush) and then use your magnet to push the pigment then we will use the same brush to reactivate the pigment on the other side and cure it! We will do two coats of that and then ill give that buff with that being a topcoat give that a wipe over then ill take my Void Gel again and paint in the smile line cure the gel and then we will repeat the same process only backward give it two coats and then a final top-coat and ta’da that’s it!
