Reflection occurs when light, sound, or any other waves meets a surface and changes direction. This is part of optics physics. The law of reflection says that the angle of incidence has to be the same as the angle of reflection. And from this, we can construct useful ray diagrams to illustrate the paths of light rays and to figure out where images are produced.

In the video, we talked about virtual images. The other type of images is known as real images. Here are the differences between them:

Real Image:
A real image is formed when light rays converge at a point after reflection or refraction.
It can be projected onto a screen because the rays actually converge at a specific point in space.
An example of real images is those projected by a film projector onto a scree.

Virtual Image:
A virtual image is formed when light rays appear to converge from a particular point after reflection or refraction, but they do not actually converge there.
It cannot be projected onto a screen because the rays do not physically meet.
Virtual images can be formed inside of a mirror.
