Final Fantasy Tactics follows the story of Ramza Beoulve, a young noble caught in the chaos of the War of the Lions, a brutal conflict between rival houses fighting for control of the kingdom of Ivalice. What begins as a political struggle soon reveals darker forces at work: a secret cult, ancient demonic beings known as the Lucavi, and a conspiracy that reaches deep into the church and nobility.

As Ramza uncovers the truth, he becomes branded a heretic, fighting from the shadows to stop a resurrection of an evil power while the world remains blind to the real threat. The game’s narrative is grounded in political intrigue, betrayal, class conflict, and a hidden history that flips Ivalice’s legends on their head.

Final Fantasy Tactics is a turn-based tactical RPG where battles play out on grid-based maps in full 3D terrain. You build and customize a party using the series’ iconic Job System, unlocking classes, abilities, and unique strategies.
