A comprehensive critical illness insurance will help you plan ahead. "Critical Illness 188 Whole Life Insurance Plan" (the "Plan") provides you with comprehensive coverage for up to 188 types of illnesses, resounding throughout the city! The Plan provides critical illness protection of up to 550% of Sum Insured (1). After the payment of benefits for Cancer, Heart Attack, Stroke or Kidney Failure, 2% of Sum Insured will be automatically paid monthly for 12 months, i.e. total 24% of Sum Insured as Continuous Support Benefit (2).

(1) The maximum amount payable is up to 550% of Sum Insured, including Major Illness Benefit (100% of Sum Insured), Extra Protection of Major Illness Benefit (if any) (50% of Sum Insured), a maximum number of 4 claims for subsequent Cancer, Heart Attack, Stroke, and/or Kidney Failure and Continuous Support Benefit (maximum amount payable in total is 400% of Sum Insured).
(2) Continuous Support Benefit is provided until the Policy Anniversary on or immediately following the Insured’s 100th birthday. The amount payable will only be paid after the payment of benefits for Cancer, Heart Attack, Stroke or Kidney Failure.
(3) Such additional benefits are provided until the Policy Anniversary on or immediately following the Insured’s 88th birthday, subject to relevant conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, Kidney Failure can only be claimed once under the Plan.
(4) Only applicable to the Insured who passes away or the Insured whose Major Illness is first Diagnosed within the first 10 Policy Years.
(5) The Insured’s spouse (applicable to the Insured of Age 18 or above) or parent (applicable to the Insured under the Age of 18) must be the Policy Owner, Contingent Policy Owner and/or Beneficiary. Under all circumstances, either Waiver of Premium Benefit due to Spouse’s Death or Waiver of Premium Benefit due to Parent’s Death can be exercised only once under each policy.
