The Ministry is making a strong contribution to this process by improving traditional services and by introducing new approaches to service delivery. When people in drought stricken communities called for water, we not only trucked water to them, but also
developed a network of modern, community-based Water Shops that have significantly lifted their standards of living and brought dignity and hope. This Government has made tremendous inroads in expanding water access and bringing piped potable water to our
citizens. This year, we will be building new Water Shops in various Parishes to address the needs of affected residents. #LocalGovAtWork
