On August 30th 2019 at 6:36 am EST we had the new moon cycle begin at 6 degrees of Virgo. Moon, Sun, Mercury, Mars and Venus are ALL in Virgo at the moment, being opposed 180 degrees by Neptune in Pisces. All of those planets in Virgo are in a trine to Uranus in Taurus and most are trine to Saturn in Capricorn making this time an important Grand Earth Trine!
The Sabian symbol for 6 degrees of Virgo is "a harem". Interesting, that a day ago, a judge in NY closed the case against the allegedly deceased Jeffery Epstien right after a full on "harem", dozens of women platififfs, claimed they were trafficked, raped, molested or otherwise abused and manipulated when they were underage by Jeffery Epstien, his madam and other accomplices.
Interesting that on August 21st, 2019 the moon (feminine aspect, emotion) was exactly conjunct Uranus in Taurus (revolution, potential chaos and technology manifested on the earthly plane) at 6 degrees of Taurus. On this day, social media and news lit up around the world that the Amazon rainforest is on FIRE! The Sabian symbol for 6 degrees of Taurus is "A woman from Samaria goes to draw water from the ancestral well". Here she meets Jesus who reveals that he is divine and she believes him and is shocked that he would talk to her because she is from a tribe that is typically shunned by the majority. This represents recognizing the divine, and bridging social gaps between cultures, having respect for individuals no matter where they come from.
This will be a transformative and ultimately empowering time if we follow the schedule that astrology provides to live the highest manifestation of what is being shown to us as possible through the archtypes and symbolism of the stars. Just as the Moon and solar cycle dictate, the seasons, sowing, harvest and cutting time, the stars can provide us with a schedule as to what to do and when to do it in order to achieve abundance, balance and ultimately transcendence.
Virgo is symbolized by the Virgin and ruled by the planet Mercury. She is interested in purity and purifying the earth and the body, she uses her mind to sort out, organize and critically analyze what works and what doesn't. With all the personal planets in this sign now including Mars and Venus, there is a conversation going on as to how are we as individuals and men and women are going to work together to heal and purify our selves and Gaia. We must to this with considerations of the structures that will transform symbolized by the ongoing Pluto and Saturn conjunction in Capricorn and Uranus in Taurus.
Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius represents rebellion, chaos to achieve freedom, innovative thinking and technology. Now, and for the next 7 years we have Uranus in Taurus, which brings technology and chaos down to the earthly plane. This cycle of Uranus beginning back in the early 2000's when Uranus was in Aries, brought us iphones, social media, powerful internet leading up to controversial 5G and AI. The Uranus in Taurus period will be most successful if we can become aware of how these technologies affect us and take action. This may look like using awareness to put the brakes on some new technology, branching out into decentralized social media, using secured emails and browsers, using crystals to protect from radiation and grounding methods, using aeroponics to grow food, permaculture systems, drone surveillance to alert rainforest protectors when illegal activity is happening in the jungle, using your awareness to donate to groups to protecting the forests and refusing to buy things like rainforest beef, soy, palm oil and supporting organic fair trade coffee, cacoa, pinapples and bananas.
The myth of Aquarius is that Zeus saw a young man and found his to his liking. He paid the boys father off with and took him as his servant and lover. The boy served Zeus and the gods from cups. He was also basically a sex slave. He rebelled against sexual enslavement and poured out the water of the Gods creating a great flood on earth in order to become free! This is why Aquarius, which is actually of fixed air elementally, is also known as the water bearer. As we move into the Age of Aquarius, it is important to realize that cases like Epstien with his connection to the elite abusing women, the unnecessary medical interventions to birthing women, the trafficking of women, girls and boys around the world, the proliferation of the porn industry desensitizing people to their own sexual experiences and exploiting many who work in it must be brought to justice and stopped. We must remember that consent is necessary and if someone is too young or intoxicated they cannot give consent! Violence against the feminine is widespread and to reach the age of Aquarius there will be chaos if the proper consciousness is not restored first.
