Bostian's Bridge Train Wreck - The History & The Legend

#OnThisDay, August 27, 1891, a six-car train out of Statesville, NC jumped the tracks and plunged from Bostian's Bridge into the ravine below, taking the lives of 23 and injuring 30 more. For years, ghostly tales srrounding the tragedy have drawn people to the area, sometimes with dire consequences.
